Woman Wins Big At Casino

STANDISH — A few dollars’ worth of quarters turned into the fortune of a lifetime for an Owendale woman Wednesday evening.

A woman who chose to remain anonymous won a $2.3 million slots jackpot at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Tuesday. Aug 16, 2018  Lightning struck twice for a Westchester woman who won a $1.4 million jackpot at the Empire City Casino over the weekend — the second time she’s won big at the Yonkers gaming. Jul 21, 2018  Veronica Castillo from Portland, Oregon, thought she hit an over $8 million jackpot at a Washington state casino, until the bosses told her that the machine had malfunctioned and there would be no prize. Although not a big gambler, Castillo went with her mother to Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, Washington, on Nov. While playing a video game called Jurassic Riches, Castillo’s.

Visiting Saganing Eagles Landing Casino in Standish, Sandra Parks, 61, won $212,958 off a Wheel of Fortune MegaJackpot quarter slot machine, reports IGT, the machine’s manufacturer.
A third-grade teacher at Owendale-Gagetown Area Schools for nearly 30 years, Parks said she visits the casino once in a while with her husband, Lewis. She had been playing in increments of 75 cents at the machine, which eventually awarded her the massive payout.
“I had played all I wanted to,” she said. “I had put about $5 worth into the machine and was thinking, ‘Jeez, I’m not really doing too good, we should get out of here,’ and then, kaboom.
“I looked up there and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’” she said. She initially thought she had won $200.
After spending several hours going through a heap of paperwork, Parks left the casino with her initial check. The amount will be distributed over the next 20 years via a yearly check, Parks said.
“It took the whole day to sink in,” she said. “I brought my check to school, and the kids thought it was really great.”
Parks has no immediate plans on how to spend the money.
“I put my first check in the bank, and I have no idea what I’m going to do with it right now,” she said. “The check has to be held for 10 days, and the Lord is making me think.”
The payout is the first MegaJackpot prize to be paid at the casino and the first in Michigan so far this year, IGT reports. The Wheel of Fortune game has a starting jackpot of $100,000. The game is won by the player betting three quarters at a time while attempting to line up the game’s symbols on the machine’s payline.
Since 1995, Michigan casinos have awarded 174 MegaJackpot prizes totaling $86.4 million, including Parks’ win.
“We’ve waited for sometime for that payout,” said Frank Cloutier, public relations director for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, which owns the casino. “We’re very excited it was on our property and it was one of our patrons who was fortunate enough (to win).
“In gaming, if you have no losers, you have no winners, and if you have no winners, you have no business. Congratulations to her and we wish her all the best.”
Until Parks decides what to spend her cash on, she can continue reveling in the satisfaction of the win.
“Surprises do come true,” Parks said. “Miracles do happen.”

Wonder Woman Review

Wonder Woman, massively popular in the 1980s has made a big resurgence over the last couple of years with big new movies and slots in Vegas. A legend in the Super Hero world, has produced an excellent slot game which is great fun to play.

Produced by Bally Gaming, this one represents them well and has brought together a lot of the best features found on the latest games from the company, including brand new bonus game features. It also has exclusive features, which are Wonderful.

Woman Wins Big At Churchill Downs

Wonder Woman is a Marvel Superhero that first appeared way back in 1941. As popular as the comic books were, most people remember Wonder Woman for the TV series in the 1970s (it ran from 1975 to 1979), starring Lynda Carter. The TV series became a real legend on the box (see the wikipedia page for more details)

More recently, Wonder Woman made a comeback when it was made into a Hollywood movie which was a hit all over the world and has resulted in a huge resurgence in the brand.

Plus, of course, we now have the slot machine!

Wonder Woman Slot Machine in Vegas

You will find Wonder Woman in quite a few of the casinos in Las Vegas. Personally, I have played this game in a number of casinos, including Bally's, MGM, The Flamingo Casino and the Golden Nugget.

A lot of the larger off-strip casinos and resorts have Wonder Woman slots, including Sam's Town, The Orleans and The Palms

The game is great fun and people obviously enjoy it. I have seen a lot of people singing along to it and enjoying the video clips and bonus rounds.

Free Spin Bonus Game

Something that is very unusual about Wonder Woman and really interesting, is the way you can 'purchase' a bonus round. I have never seen this in any other slot game and it is a really interesting concept.

Big Win Casino

This feature is a really interesting and innovative addition, although it is hard to say whether this will be a popular idea, long-term, or not.

Things like this can seem really good in testing, but it's only when thousands of players have played for cash in the casinos that they can decide if buying a bonus is something that is fun, or if it's just spoils the sense of anticipation.

Whichever, it's good to see innovation in a slots game like this.

Playing the Game in Las Vegas

Win

The Wonder Woman slot machine is a standard 5 reel slot machine. It plays in a typical modern Bally fashion and in many ways, it is similar to Tarzan or Michael Jackson.

The spinning bonus reel like 'u spin to win' games is a big attraction and if you love games like MJ, you should enjoy this one (as long as you like the Wonder Woman brand, that is)

I really did enjoy playing Wonder Woman slots, although I thought that I was probably liking the game mostly because of the theme, the video clips and the music, rather than the actual game play.

I only got to play the bonus game once and got one with free spins. At the beginning of free spins, there was a choice between number of free spins and number of wild symbols added to he screen during the play.

I went for the maximum number of wild symbols (60 extra per line) and 8 free spins. Had I wanted, I could have gone for 20 free spins, but with fewer wild symbols added. I was going for it, fewer spins, but higher potential wins per spin.

Another player (on the machine next to me) got a different bonus, which was similar in the fact that it was involving free spins, but this one featured expanding wonder women that then became wild.
