The Green Bay Packers will look to pull off a road win over the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. The winner of the contest will advance to Super Bowl LIV.

It has been a long time since we saw Aaron Rodgers make it to the Super Bowl. Long regarded as one of the best in the league and of all-time, it has been a decade since he beat the Steelers in the big game.

The 4-6 Packers are threatening to miss the playoffs, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn't worried, saying of Green Bay: 'I feel like we can run the table, I really do.' This Green Bay Packers Pool Table Cover not only protects your billiard table from dust and spills but it also gives it a new and exciting look displaying your favorite NFL team logo in the center of the table. This is a high quality fitted black Naugahyde cover that fits most 8 foot tables measuring.

He and new coach Matt LaFleur have the Packers within a single win of reaching that goal once again, and they’ll be looking to get it done Sunday. Green Bay lost 37-8 when it last played San Francisco, but a lot has happened since then.

After several years of below-mediocre play, San Francisco is now within a single game of reaching the Super Bowl. This is a fantastic team with depth across the board. The 49ers have a number of receivers capable of making the big catch, with three healthy running backs that can all pick up big yards on the ground.

Healthy once again after last year ended in injury, Jimmy Garoppolo is looking every bit of the guy the Patriots believe they drafted to be Tom Brady’s eventual replacement.

The 49ers are seven-point favorites for Sunday’s game, while the over/under is set at 45 points.

Looking To Get Back

A lot has changed in Green Bay since it last reached the Super Bowl, but Rodgers has remained under center throughout all of the years. He has Davante Adams crushing it as his top target, with Jimmy Graham also making key plays at the tight end spot.

The Packers have Aaron Jones emerging as an elite back this season, playing some fantastic football. Green Bay’s offseason additions to the pass rush in Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith have worked wonders, as both have come in and been sensational this year.

The Green Bay secondary will have its hands full with the San Francisco receivers, and that is going to end up being the big decision-maker in the win.

The Packers’ offense can go cold at times, but they cannot afford to have that against San Francisco. After scoring eight points when they last got together, Green Bay is going to have to really score this time around.

Living Up To Expectations

Jim Harbaugh helped the 49ers make the Super Bowl eight years ago, but since then, this team has not had much playoff success. With Kyle Shanahan as the coach now, there’s something of note with this one.

With Atlanta, his team ran the score up on Green Bay a few years ago to help them win the NFC Championship Game. Now his team is playing against the Packers once again, so he has that one in the front of his mind. Garoppolo has had a very strong year, with all of the running backs and receivers gaining big yards constantly.

The 49ers have some serious monsters up front with Arik Armstead, Nick Bosa and DeForest Buckner. Richard Sherman was sensational all season as well.

49ers Get The Win

A win is coming for the 49ers, and they will represent the NFC after winning a tight one against Green Bay. They will run for a first down to close the deal.

Only looking at Green Bay Packers betting odds is NOT enough!

After you’ve opened an account with one of our top Packers betting
sites, it’s time to prepare for your first wager. Rather than just introduce you
to a sportsbook that covers the NFL and send you on your way, we’ve designed
this page to act as a continual resource that you can use throughout the season.
The statistics that you’ll find in this section have to do with each team’s
record straight-up, against the spread, and covering totals lines.

This information can be quite valuable and will grant you insight into how
the Green Bay Packers and their opponents have been performing to date. By
comparing a team’s wins and losses with their record against the spread and the
rate at which their games go “under” or “over” totals lines, you can draw some
decent conclusions about how an upcoming matchup may play out.

Every season, we see NFL franchises that are significantly better than their
record may suggest. They’ll lose a majority of their games by a touchdown or
less, keeping the contests competitive to the very end. These teams may lose in
real life, but they’ll frequently cover the spread and win their backers plenty
of cash, and that’s the kind of information you need to bring to your favorite
Green Bay Packers betting site!

The stats shared in this section will also help you anticipate the style of
game that will be played. A losing squad with a high rate of “overs” is likely
talented on offense, able to score enough to keep up with their opponents but
plagued by a defense that gives up even more points. When a couple of those
teams are paired up, you know to expect fireworks!

Make sure to revisit this area every week before submitting your picks at top
Green Bay Packers betting sites. The table pulls its numbers from an official
database, which ensures that it’s always sharing the most up-to-date, relevant
info for betting online on the Green Bay Packers.

There aren’t too many quarterbacks in the league you’d want leading your
franchise over Aaron Rodgers. Despite sustaining a knee injury in Week 1 that
hampered him for the rest of the year, Rodgers threw for 4,442 yards and 25
touchdowns while only throwing two interceptions, setting a record for
consecutive passes without an INT in the process. However, he never seemed on
the same page with Mike McCarthy’s play-calling, and the Packers finished the
season a disappointing 6-9-1.

With a full offseason to heal and new coaching staff, the Packers QB should
be in for another quality year. However, the team shouldn’t rely on the
brilliance of Aaron Rodgers to the same extent this season. While he’ll always
be a key factor in Green Bay Packers odds, the team will probably look to
incorporate more of the run game under new head coach Matt LaFleur.

That being said, as long as the two-time MVP is playing, Green Bay is a
threat to put major points on the board. The Rodgers to Davante Adams is one of
the deadliest QB-WR combos in the NFL. It won’t be a surprise if the Green Bay
Packers betting sites see a high percentage of “overs” this year.

Aaron Jones will come into his third season in the NFL as the Packers
starting running back for the first time in his career. After a two-game
suspension and a light workload upon returning, Jones took over the starting
role in Week 6 of 2018. From there he became a force in the offense, culminating
in a monstrous 145-yards and 2 TDs on just 15 carries in Week 10 against the
Dolphins.

Jones will factor heavily into this season’s game plans, as his running style
matches his new coach’s offensive scheme perfectly. Matt LaFleur comes from the
Mike Shanahan coaching tree, whose system specializes in zone runs, making one
cut and exploding into the hole.

The only concern is his health. Aaron Jones has missed eight games over the
his first two seasons in the league. There’s a significant drop-off from the
explosive Jones to Jamaal Williams, and 6th round pick Dexter
Williams in an unknown commodity.

Davante Adams is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL right now and a
critical piece of the Packers’ passing attack. The rest of the receiving talent
is pretty thin, so if Adams isn’t participating, that should affect the choices
you make that week at top Green Bay Packers betting sites. That being said, the
two-time Pro Bowler has been relatively durable in his five-year career.

Last season, Davante caught 111 passes for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns. His
chemistry with Aaron Rodgers is unparalleled. If the Packers are able to
establish an effective run game, it should only open things up more for the
wideout in 2019. Packers betting sites better be ready for plenty of
“overs” if that’s the case.

Green Bay clearly went into the offseason with a goal of getting much more
pressure on opposing quarterbacks. While they lost the underperforming Clay
Matthews, considerable resources were spent addressing his position. In free
agency, the Packers did something extremely rare for the franchise: They spent
some serious cash.

Table

New GM Brian Gutekunst signed EDGE rushers Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith
from the Ravens and Redskins, respectively. Za’Darius is coming off a 2018
campaign in which he recorded 61 total pressures, while Preston notched 53 of
his own to go along with excellent run defending ability. Then, they used the 12th
selection in the draft to take Rashan Gary from Michigan. The Packers are clearly coming into 2019 with an emphasis on linebacker play
and harassing opposing quarterbacks. If it works, they’ll return right back to
contender status and affect odds at Green Bay Packers betting sites.

Packers Ownership

Green Bay Packers Inc.: (1923 – Present)

The Green Bay Packers are the only publicly-owned team in the NFL.
Furthermore, they’re the only franchise allowed to operate under their unique
ownership structure. They were grandfathered in after a league rule in 1980
dictated that there are no more than 32 owners of any given team with at least
one investor holding at minimum 30% stake. Green Bay Packers Inc is held by
360,760 stockholders.

There are currently 5,011,558 shares of the franchise, though no single owner
is allowed to possess more than 200,000 of them. Organizational operations are
the responsibility of the Green Bay Packers Board of Directors, the president of
which is currently Mark H. Murphy. The Packers are the only publicly held
non-profit professional sports franchise in America.

Earl “Curly” Lambeau: (1919 – 1923)

Green Bay Packers Store

The Green Bay Packers were founded in 1919 by Earl “Curly” Lambeau and his
friend George Whitney Calhoun. Lambeau, in addition to running the day-to-day
operations of the team, also acted as a player and coach. He was the team’s star
halfback at a time when it was the sport’s most important position and was the
Packers’ top rusher and passer.

Curly’s squad joined the American Professional Football Association, which
would eventually become the NFL in 1921. However, two years later, the fledgling
franchise began to fall into financial troubles.

Faced with the possibility of their local team, a group of five Green Bay
businessmen raised funds and incorporated the Packers as a non-profit
organization. Lambeau continued on as a player-coach through 1929 and retained
his role as coach and general manager until 1949, long after his playing days
were over.

Team Logos

Current Oval “G” (1980 – Present)

Since 1980, the Green Bay Packers logo has been a variation of the classic
oval “G,” initially created in 1961. The only difference between the current
design and the original is a yellow outline along the border of the green oval.

White and Green Oval “G” (1961 – 1979)

In 1961, Vince Lombardi asked the Packers’ equipment manager to design a new
logo for the franchise. He then tasked his assistant, a St. Nortbert College art
student named John Gordon, who then created the green oval design with a white
“G.” Lombardi approved of the now-classic “G,” which is the only logo ever to be
worn on the Packers’ helmets.

No. 41 and Wisconsin (1956 – 1961)

Green Bay tried its third logo in 1956. The picture is of a quarterback
wearing the number 41, with his arm cocked back to throw a pass. Packers
quarterbacks Arnie Herber and Clarke Hinkle wore the number in the past. The
picture of the player is a yellow-gold and set atop a green outline of the state
of Wisconsin, which itself is layered over a larger yellow-gold football.

Football and Goal Posts (1951 – 1955)

The Packers first logo in the post-Lambeau era was a “Packers” wordmark in
green, backed by an almost-horizontal orange football. On the right and left
edges of “Packers” are a pair of orange goalposts. The strings and borders of
the football are yellow.

Acme Packers (1921)

Green Bay’s first-ever logo was a white square with rounded edges and a large
blue “AP” in the middle. Above the “P” is the motto “You want it, we’ll pack
it.” Yellow lettering reading “ACME PACKERS” is written over the blue initials.
Below the “AP” the words “Green Bay, WI” were written in italics, with “1921
Football” written in brown block font below. The logo was designed this way to
represent the organization’s sponsor, which gave Curly Lambeau $500 for uniforms
and equipment to start the team.

History of the Green Bay Packers
